ImmunoComb

is based on the solid-phase "dot” ELISA principle providing quantitative, semi-quantitative and qualitative results. The solid phase is a comb-shaped plastic card. It provides a serological result, measuring the antibody levels in animals’ blood or serum to specific disease agents.

ImmunoRun

Lateral flow test kits provide high sensitivity and high specificity and quick results for a number of illnesses in cats and dogs.

Each kit contains 5 individual tests (50 kit size is also available). The box is about the size of an egg box so they are easy to store in a fridge with at least 10 months expiry date. Another bonus is that the recommended storage temperature is between 2-30oC, therefore they are ideal for home visits.

An additional benefit is that there are no more laboratory fees or long turnaround times for results. The test result will be available within 10 minutes, thus improving profits and customer service satisfaction.

VacciCheck

This ELISA based test kit measures antibody levels to core pathogens. There are a few ways where VacciCheck can be beneficial to determine a dog or cat’s antibody titre levels of the 3 core diseases:

• After a dog or cat vaccination to indicate immunisation success was achieved
• To determine if a booster is required

PCRun

The paradigm of a PCR test being performed in a specialised veterinary lab with prolonged turnaround times has now been broken.

In general, PCR testing allows for rapid and highly specific diagnosis of infectious diseases, including those caused by bacteria or viruses.  The high sensitivity of PCR permits virus detection soon after infection and even before the onset of disease.  Such early detection gives vets a significant lead time in treatment.
